Do cities such as New York,San Francisco & Boston have such high property values/taxes as a means to?

discourage middle income people from living there, as also to make it so only illegals & wealthy people stay in such metro areas. Most residences there it seems to be either luxury condos or roached infested slums.

well, that’s true. middle class people leave cities and head for the suburbs where they can live very well on their incomes (WHITE FLIGHT). In order to live well in a big city, you need to be filthy rich. Poor people would like to leave the city as well, but they can’t because that’s where the jobs are. The filthy rich and the dirt poor are usually in close proximity since the rich need many butlers after all lol

I should mention though that MANY middle class people WORK in the cities, but live in the ‘burbs. Commuters. Middle class people COULD live in the city if they wanted to, but they simply wouldn’t live as well as they do outside of them…so why bother?

Also, a big city is no place to raise a child. Even if you’re rich, they’ll end up as spoiled, arrogant coke-heads. Its a great place to live as a college-grad trying to make it in the real world!
